All reasonable endeavours will be made to ensure that all information held by the Company is gathered, stored, used, disclosed and diposed of in accordance with the prevailing legislation. Lincoln Electric recognises the responsibility it has to all its employees, customers and suppiers, to maintain the highest standards of integrity and efficiency when handling personal information. We also recognise that adhering to such standards plays an important part in maintaining the confidence of those whose information we handle and the successful operation of our business. Lincoln Electric warrants that all information it collects from employees, customers and suppliers is collected lawfully and is used only for the purpose(s) for which they are aware or would reasonably expect. When required by law, this information will be released to the relevant authorities upon proper applicaiton. Lincoln Electric will take reasonable steps to ensure that information collected is accurate, complete and up to date. If Lincoln Electric is made aware of an error or change in a person's, customer's or supplier's information, then it will use its reasonable endeavours to correct such errors within 30 days of being notified of such errors. All customer's have the right to opt out from receiving marketing material including those sent by email, phone, fax and post. Lincoln Elecrtric will ensure that personal information it holds is appropriately stored in a secure environment that can only be accessed, modified or disclosed by authorised staff and with the knowledge of Lincoln Electric. Upon request, Lincoln Electric will provide an individual with access to or advice on the general personal information held on that person by Lincoln Electric provided that requests made are not vexatious or frivilous.
